School Uniform

School Uniform is compulsory at Jebel Ali Primary School. We feel that the uniform enhances the children's feeling of belonging to and identifying with the school. Many visitors and parents make positive comments about the appearance of the children at Jebel Ali Primary School.

The wearing of jewellery is not desirable, due to health and safety reasons, and also the time-consuming factor with regard to removing jewellery for P.E. and swimming activities. If it is essential, please do not let children wear anything other than studs to school as nasty accidents can occur with other types of earrings. Expensive watches, toys and personal belongings should not be brought to school. This reduces the risk of items being lost or exchanged with other children. As in any "family", items inevitably get mislaid. There are lost property boxes in the school for clothing which are located in the Nurses rooms. At certain times during each year these boxes will be cleared. Valuables such as watches, money, etc. will be kept in the office. Please name all clothing - it does save so much valuable time.

All items listed below may be purchased from The Uniform Shop, Spinneys Centre, Jumeirah or from Stitches on the Beach Road.

Blue Sweatshirt with School logo or cardigan with school logo
White P.E. Shorts
White P.E. T-Shirt with School logo
Girl's Swimsuit, Navy with Gold flash (Juniors only)
Boy's Swim Trunks, Navy with Gold Flash (Juniors only)

Additional items required (may be purchased anywhere)
Socks: Plain white or navy blue
Shoes: Conventional black leather full shoe (no boots or open-toed sandals, heels no higher than one inch)
Sports Shoes: White trainers - no high sides or black soles that may mark.

* The children are requested to wear a school hat when outside at break times. They will not be allowed to play in the direct sun without a hat.
